I still remember the ecaxt day we met mate.. I'd just started playing rugby at ampthill and Gonse's dad was our coach.. I came to Ali's house and you and Chris talbot were sat on a sofa in his front room.. I was 13 at the time and remember thinking 'theres no way you two were the same age as me !'.. you had sideburns and nearly a full beard ! We shared the front row at ampthill for many a year after that.. we had some awesome times mate we really did.. you are an inspiration to us all, someone I will never forget mate.. all the pain has gone and I know you will be sat up there drinking whisky and smoking a cigar.
